Our Review of the 2004 Ford Focus SVT

Frequently you will discover that purchasers of the Ford Focus are quite excited about their purchase. The Focus has held a position among the top of the Focus line of car for a very long time. It is a significant car, and the 2004 model is no different. The Ford Focus comes under the heading of hatchback models that are fun to drive.
Ford Focus Engine Specs
The restyled Focus SVT is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The Zetec engine is mated to a Getrag six-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2003 version.

Fuel Efficiency
The 2004 Focus gets 30 - 36 miles/gallon on the highway and only 24 - 27 in the city. This is subpar for a hatchback car.

The 2003 model began the promise of the Ford Focus. The 2004 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Ford hopes that the Focus SVT will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
